Ministry Overview

Engage with life-honoring services by offering women and couples, especially those considering abortion, the information and free diagnostic services that help them to choose life.

Embrace with life-saving truth by providing the ultrasound – the visual proof of life and a spiritual discussion that we hope leads to the life-saving knowledge of Jesus.

Empower with life-changing support by offering parenting classes, material support, help and education they need to be good parents.

A Woman’s Concern was established in Boston in 1991 to provide an alternative to abortion for women and couples facing an unplanned pregnancy.  The founders recognized the need to educate and empower women to make healthy, life-affirming decisions regarding their pregnancies and sexual health. Over twenty-five years later, our appearance and name have changed and our reach extends throughout Massachusetts but we remain resolute in our founding purpose.

Currently, we have centers in Revere, Fall River and Sturbridge and operate our mobile medical clinic in the greater Boston area. Our mobile clinic is also used in partnership with non-medical centers.

Whether a fixed location or a mobile clinic, we believe all human life is sacred. Women and couples facing unexpected pregnancies deserve to receive the medical standard of care that provides medical testing and information prior to making a decision regarding a pregnancy. And as Christians, we are committed to helping families meet the practical and material needs that they have.
