Our mission is three-pronged:
Engage with life-honoring services by offering women and couples, especially those considering abortion, the information and free diagnostic services needed to make a well-informed decision.
Embrace with life-saving truth by providing the ultrasound – the visual proof of life and a spiritual discussion that we hope leads to the life-saving knowledge of Jesus.
Empower with life-changing support by offering parenting classes; material support; help and education they need to be good parents.
A Woman’s Concern was established in Boston in 1991 to protect the rights of the unborn and their parents. The founders recognized the need to educate and empower women to make healthy, life-affirming decisions regarding their unplanned pregnancies and sexual health. Twenty-five years later, our appearance and name have changed, our reach extends throughout Massachusetts and we remain resolute in our founding purpose.
Currently we serve women and couples in Revere, Fall River, Southbridge and the greater Boston area. Although we closed the Hyannis center, we continue to serve patients from the cape.
Whether a fixed location or a mobile clinic, we believe all human life is sacred; women and couples facing unexpected pregnancies should be fully informed of their three options and the facts associated with those options prior to making a decision. Furthermore, women and men who terminated a pregnancy shouldn’t live in a shadow of shame and brokenness.
